We sell one product a day at a great price. Each product makes
its debut at 12:00 am EST. If we sell out of the product,
a new product is not put up for sale until the next day at
12:00am EST. It’s that simple....
Our website continually contacts all the "tracked" websites, checking on all of the
following information for each website:
The current product title
The current product price and (when available) shipping costs
Whether or not the product is in stock (and sometimes how much of the item is left)
How much of a discount off of the regular price (or MSRP) the offer is.
How long since the item first appeared
Approximately how much time until a new product is shown
Then we report this information to you. We also keep track of how often
users click on each site link, and we report that as the "activity" of
each website. More about that below.
Which sites do we choose to track?
The purpose of this website is to track deal-of-the-day websites.
This includes websites devoted to "one a day" selling, where
the entire site sells only one item at a time. This also includes regular
retailers who have special daily deals on one item that runs
for 24 hours.
There are a LOT of variations on this theme, and a
comprehensive site of all variations would be very muddled
and thus lose it's utility. We have done our best to
find a happy medium. Those sites which fall outside what
we're trying to show here, we add to the
unused website list.
That way, you can still access those sites easily, but they
won't clutter the main area.
So, without further ado, here's what we generally look for in a site:
Offers one deal that changes on a daily basis
Offers a reasonable customer service policy,
displaying information about how to contact in case of a problem.
Ships to the USA
Has the appropriate information AS TEXT in their website
We currently track over 100 sites, and are constantly looking to add more.

A User's Guide to this website
This site has numerous features to help you track the deals you're most interested in
as efficiently as possible. Here's a brief guide to the data and features that we
currently have:
Data
activity - this tells you which sites are most active over the few hours.
The measure is calculated directly from the number of users who are clicking a site during
that time, weighing more recent clicks more than older clicks.
The activity is shown by a green bar inside of a black rectangle. If the
rectangle is full, it means that the site next to the bar is the most active at this current time.
If the rectangle is halfway full, it means that the site next to the bar is only
half as active as the most active site. If you sort by activity, you will see
which deals that other people found to be the most interesting!
site - hopefully self-explanatory. Sites are shown by logos; if you want to find out
the name of the site, click the link or put your mouse over the logo--the name will
then show a few seconds later in the "tooltip" text.
title - the title of the product. This is meant to give you a general idea of the type
of product being sold, so you can decide whether it's worth your time to click and find out
more.
picture - a picture of the product, taken from the vendor site.
Notice at the top of the table that you can pick the sizes of pictures. Also notice
that if you put your mouse over the picture, you get a large size photo of the product.
price - all in US$. When available, we also list the shipping cost.
Sometimes it is parsed from the site live (reliable), and sometimes it is estimated from
a site's last published shipping policy (less reliable).
status - information about whether the item is in stock.
If the website provides further information,
we do our best to report it as well. Some websites report the # of items in stock, others
report what % of stock remains, and others give notifications when the stock is very low.
We do our best to read those cues and report them to you!
discount - when available, we list the % price difference
between the current offer and the regular price of the same item on that site.
If that's not available, then we try to pull the MSRP for the item and show
the % price difference between the current offer and MSRP.
age - All sites change their deals at different times than
other sites, and it can be hard to keep track of. Also, soetimes sites post early or late,
sometimes offers sell
out early and are replaced with other offers, and sometimes sites have special events
where new items are shown all day. "Age" will tell you how much time has passed
since the item was first posted.
time remaining - most deal-of-the-day websites tell you in
advance when the next deal will be posted.
You can use this information to help you be one of the first ones to get a look at a hot
deal and buy, buy, buy! Note that the "N/A" marker simply means that the site does NOT consistently
post new deals at a specific time, so the time left is unknown, or "not applicable".
